Sea View Inn - Pawleys Island, South Carolina Are you looking for an oceanfront Inn? Sea View Inn is on Pawleys Island, which is a four mile long, one house wide island that is truly a step back in time. It offers the perfect beach getaway. Nothing commercial. No filling stations, no fireworks stands, no grocery store or ships. Just beachfront houses in a single line on a narrow strip of land.
The Inn, charming and laid back, is smack in the middle of the island and is more than just a bed and breakfast. She welcomes you to three meals a day, 20 rooms, and a perfect beach.

A vacation, a retreat, you bet! Sea View Inn has been welcoming guests to its tranquil setting for 60 years. In the 18th and 19th centuries, the island became a retreat for wealthy rice planters to escape the heat of summer.
Today, managers Sassy and Brian Henry, continue the tradition of offering a comfortable and casual hideaway, full of charm and hospitality, steeped in tradition and history.

Southern Dining

Sea View is known for its excellent seafood and low-country cuisine. As a guest at Sea View, you'll be treated to three fabulous meals each day.

Wake up to a breakfast of juice, coffee, eggs, toast, sausage or bacon, and grits. Sample pancakes, cereal, and fresh fruit. Morning coffee starts on the back porch at 7:00 a.m., and breakfast follows at 8:30 a.m.

The main meal of the day is served in the early afternoon (1:15 p.m.), and may include fried chicken, fresh vegetables, salad, homemade biscuits, and dessert.

In the evening, at about 6:15 p.m., sit down to a table full of mouth-watering pasta, deviled crab, oyster pie, shrimp gumbo, jambalaya, salads, and spoon bread.
