Rutledge Victorian Guest House is an elegant, Charleston House in the Downtown Historic District. This century old house with rare decorative Italianate architecture and beautiful ceiling moldings was originally the Brodie-Pinkussohn House. All rooms have mahogany and oak fireplaces, 12-13 foot tall ceilings with beautiful plaster moldings, hardwood floors, 10 foot doors and windows, TV, and all Antiques! Lovely 120 foot round porch with rocking chairs and joggling board, overlook the Park and Roman Columns, the remains of the Confederate Soldiers Reunion Hall. Children under 12 by prior approval only. No pets. We apologize but can no longer offer luggage assistance (bell service).

Rutledge Victorian Guest House is located 1 block north of Bull, across from Roman Columns & Park. Within a 5-25 minute walk to all Historic Sights. POLICIES: Any cancellation must occur 7 full days (14 days for Charleston special events and holidays) prior to the arrival date in order to avoid full reservation being charged. Outside 7 days a $25 cancellation fee will be charged per room (charge will be $50 if 14 day applies). Upon arrival all guests are responsible for entire confirmed reservation and will be charged for early departures. Non arrivals will be charged the full reservation.
