  • The Old Village Post House offers travelers gracious and inviting accommodations set in the heart of a quaint, historic fishing community. Only minutes from downtown Charleston or the beaches on Sullivan's Island and the Isle of Palms, guests can relax and enjoy the peaceful, quiet neighborhood filled with old oak trees and harbor side homes. The inn features six guest rooms, a restaurant with two dining rooms, a tavern, and a welcoming courtyard.

  • With six guest rooms, a restaurant, and a tavern all under one roof, Travelers and local neighbors enjoy relaxing and gathering at the post house for Maverick cuisine, fellowship with old friends and new, guest accommodations and more. At the Old Village Post House, you'll experience the tranquility of a southern past, in an atmosphere that's both stylish, comfortable and oh so present.

  • Each guest room is unique, varying in size and decor. Continental breakfast is offered each morning, in the private dining room on the second floor of the inn, featuring freshly baked muffins and pastries from our own Ambrosia Bread and Pastries. Daily newspapers are also available in the breakfast room. Each room is equipped with cable TV, telephones, irons and ironing boards. All rooms have original hardwood floors, ten foot ceilings, ceiling fans, and central air and heat. Rates: $135 - $185.
