Built in 1914 on the foundations of the James Moore family’s 1874 home, The Moore Farm House Bed and Breakfast continues a long tradition of warm hospitality. If you enjoy a good mystery, make lodging arrangements for you and your friends and experience your own Murder Mystery Weekend. Step back into Conway of the 1880's and help solve the mystery and bring the murderer to justice. (You may want to keep your door locked until we apprehend the murderer.)
You’ll stay in one of the four inviting rooms formerly occupied by the Moore daughters in the early 1900s. Select a book from the well-stocked library, chalk up a cue for a friendly game of pool, or join us in the living room for good conversation or a movie, all in a smoke-free environment.
When you ascend the original staircase to your room on the second floor, you’ll find all the comforts of home. Enjoy a relaxing soak in your own private whirlpool tub, slip into a soft terrycloth robe, and watch TV before you fall into the plush comfort of a bed that will lull you to sleep. In the morning, a gourmet breakfast awaits the guests of The Moore Farm House designed by our executive chef of the highly acclaimed Chattanoogan in Chattanooga, TN. Recipes are available if you want to make it yourself when you get home. Breakfast is generally served around 9 am with coffee, tea, juices and fruits available 15 to 20 minutes before breakfast service begins.

The Moore Farm House is located in North Conway only 15 miles from Myrtle Beach. Conway boasts a history rich in tradition and well worth a day. A city of only 15,000, Conway offers the tranquility of a time gone by. Built along the banks of the Waccamaw River, with streets lined with hundred year-old live oak trees covered with Spanish moss, Conway offers many activities for the traveler.
The River Walk stretches along the banks of the river and includes parks, wooded walkways, dining on the river, century-old warehouses (some used today as markets) and a marina. The Horry County Museum and Historical Society are rich with the history of this old river town. See City Hall which was once the court house and the hanging tree across the street. Stop by the Visitor’s Center (248-1700) at 903 Third Avenue to obtain free maps, brochures or arrange for a guided tour.
Beautiful gardens and sculptures can be enjoyed at Brookgreen Gardens - An Inspiration for all Seasons. Tickets can be purchased at The Moore Farm House. Located on Hwy 90 just north of Rt 22, La Belle Amie Vineyard is an operating vineyard open to the public where guests are invited into the wine tasting room to sample their private label wines and a variety of gourmet foods.
Only 15 miles from the Moore Farm House, Myrtle Beach offers a radically different experience. Stroll along the white sandy beaches, explore other spots along the South Carolina coast, take in a show or other special attractions, shop til you drop at Barefoot Landing or golf on one of the many golf courses in the area. Later, chose from the myriad of restaurants available at the beach or back in Conway, SC. If shopping is your favorite activity, make sure you stroll through the unique shops of Conway and enjoy a special lunch in one of the many fine downtown restaurants before you head for the factory outlet stores in Myrtle Beach.
