Welcome to The Inn at Merridun, an antebellum country inn. We are Union County's longest operating Bed and Breakfast and we offer pampered lodging and fine dining at reasonable prices.

Located only about an hour from Columbia, Greenville, Asheville and Charlotte, (and a mere 3 hours from Charleston or Atlanta); you can do as much as you want or just take time to relax. The Inn at Merridun is an elegant, yet comfortable antebellum mansion that has been lovingly restored to a one-of-a-kind country inn. City close: only a five minute walk from downtown Union; yet, country quiet: the Inn is located in the center of nine wooded acres. You will sense the hospitality as you stroll up to the marbled verandas beneath the many white Corinthian columns.

LOOK... at the blooming azaleas, magnolias, and wisteria, the 14 foot frescoed ceilings, the stunning curved stairway. LISTEN... Can you hear the birds and the squirrels?....the trains in the distance?....or the soft strains of Mozart and Beethoven? SMELL... the clean air, the warm chocolate of freshly baked cookies, the fragrance of freshly cut blossoms. TASTE...the welcoming Plantation Iced Tea, the evening desserts, and prepare your tastebuds for the 3-course country gourmet breakfast.
