Introduction
Liberty Hall Inn Bed & Breakfast
Located in historic Pendleton, S.C., this National Register Inn and private residence was built in 1840 as a summer home by the Thomas J. Sloan family then known as "Home Place". In 1905 it was purchased by Boneau Harris Family, he was the first agricultural Commissioner of South Carolina and was overseer of Woodburn Plantation located 2 miles away.
Following a number of years of decline, the house underwent extensive restoration and opened in 1985 as Liberty Hall Inn and is now the centerpiece of four acres of lawns and gardens.
Experience Liberty Hall Inn where the specialty of the house every day is Southern Hospitality.
The exterior of the stately two story Inn remains the typical Southern Plantation look with its wrap around verandahs and large front door with transom.
Included on the first floor is the cafe, our fine dining restaurant, with full service bar, serving lunch and dinner. Dining in our cafe will certainly add to your stay. The Pendleton area is enhanced by local craftsmen, historic tours, choice golf courses.
Step inside, one is immediatly taken back in time by the 14' foot ceilings, original fireplaces and heart pine floors. Stay outdoors and take in all we have to offer, either way we are sure your stay at Liberty Hall Inn will be an occasion to remember.
Minutes away are Lake Hartwell and the bustling campuses of Clemson University and Southern Wesleyan University, always alive with sporting and cultural events.
