From 1-26 East (coming from Asheville, NC): Take Exit 36 (Columbus, Tryon exit), bear right off I-26 and turn right onto Hwy. 108. Continue on 108 (which becomes 176) through downtown Tryon. Cross the railroad track. You will pass Side St. Pizza and Pasta (on the left, just over the tracks). Proceed down the hill toward the SC border. Pass Tryon IGA on the right, NAPA, Kudzu's Restaurant, First Citizens Bank, and One Tryon Place (all on the right). Just ahead, watch for a BP station on the right and a strip mall (Tryon Auction and Antiques, Family Dollar, etc.) on the left. Immediately BEFORE the BP station, turn right onto LakeShore Drive. (See below).

From I-26 West (travelling toward Asheville): Take Exit 1 (Landrum). Turn left and proceed through downtown Landrum (2 mi.). Cross the railroad track and immediately turn right on 176 (toward Tryon, NC). Drive 2-3 mi., pass Bird Mt. (lumber co., farm supply, ABC store), down a long hill and watch for signs (entering NC, speed limit 35). Look for BP station on left and strip mall on right (Family Dollar, etc.). Turn left, immediately beyond BP onto Lakeshore Dr. Round the corner and proceed up the hill to lake. (Now you're back in SC.) Bear left onto East Lakeshore Drive. Do NOT turn left onto Butter St., which is before the lake. Follow the yellow line on the road, around the lake, and watch the ascending house numbers. Lakeshore B&B is at 1026 E. Lakeshore. (Residential zoning prohibits having a sign on Lakeshore. No. 1026 is displayed on both sides of the drive. Decorative flag at right of drive and wrought iron lamppost on left. Turn down the drive and park at right of garage. Call 457-5330 if any difficulty locating us.
