The Innkeepers
Harold and Patricia Frish are a "fifty something" couple who were high school sweethearts. They are proud parents of two grown children with five grandchildren. They recently moved to South Carolina from the Chicago area where Harold retired as a firefighter/paramedic after thirty years. They have always loved to travel and have a passion for history, music, art, and antiques. Many of the decorative items in the inn have been brought back from their trips to Europe. They have the distinction of having all five of their grandchildren born in Europe. Their daughter is a classical violinist and lives in Italy with her Italian husband and their three children. Their son is a NCO in the US Army who was stationed in Germany with his wife when their two children were born.
Harold and Patricia's home has always been open to both friends and international guests and students. Harold developed his cooking skills over the firehouse stove. Patricia's decorating ability allowed her to adorn the house herself even to the point of sewing all the curtains. They are excited about the second half of their lives, as innkeepers with their first old house in their first small town. Not being from the South they cannot boast of Southern Hospitality, but they can offer the charm and elegance of a stay in a European Guesthouse.
