A stroll up lovely brick paved Church Street to stately Broad Street and on to the famous Market Street area offers a variety of unique shops, unforgettable restaurants, and lively night spots. Wander through art galleries, antique shops, and plantations - historic house and garden tours are given daily.
Inside this charming Charleston family home, the antique furnishings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and broad verandas create an elegant restful environment. Large guest rooms have king-size beds, private baths, and cable TV. There is plenty of free parking available and a soothing garden to rest in at the end of the day.

We serve a continental breakfast every morning and our sister B&B, The Palmer Home, just around the corner on East Bay Street, graciously offers our guests the option of a full hot Southern breakfast every day (except Thursdays) for an additional $5. Each afternoon at 4 p.m., our guests are also invited for wine and cheese at the beautiful Palmer Home, a chance to meet and mingle with locals and other visitors.
The Cabell House is just a few steps from Charleston's famous High Battery, a seawall that offers an inspiring sunrise walk or a truly romantic moonlit stroll.

Charleston's resort barrier islands of Seabrook and Kiawah have developed with similar styles. Located just 22 miles south of Charleston, these islands are private and owned by their residents. Isle of Palms is a barrier island on the South Carolina coast less than 20 minutes from Charleston. It is home to the world-famous Wild Dunes Resort, which offers the finest in convention facilities with restaurants, a fitness center, tennis courts and two championship golf courses. Folly Beach is located about 15 miles south of Charleston and is known as Charleston's truly original beach playground.
Mt. Pleasant is located directly across the new Cooper River Bridge. At the heart of Mt. Pleasant is the "old village" which is designated a National Register Historical District with gracious homes from the colonial and antebellum periods. Mt. Pleasant is home to one of the world's largest naval and maritime museum complexes, Patriot's Point, which is dominated by the World War II famous aircraft carrier, the Yorktown. Visitors may also board tour boats to visit the National Monument, Fort Sumter, where the Civil War began. Mt. Pleasant hosts several popular annual festivals. So, expect many exciting days when visiting Mt. Pleasant.
North Charleston is known as the transportation and business center for the lower half of the State of South Carolina. One of the main attractions of this city is the 14,000-seat coliseum, home of the local ice hockey team, the Stingrays and a 2,250-seat Performing Arts Center, which are housed in the Charleston Area Convention Center Complex. The Performing Arts Center hosts a wide variety of events including Broadway shows, music concerts, and ice shows. The International Airport and Amtrack Stations are both located in North Charleston.
