The Carriage House

Carriage House
The Carriage House offers four guestrooms within a 19th century house. Sometime after the turn of the century, additions were added which give the house a bungalow architectural appearance.

The Carriage House has 11 ft. heart of pine beaded board ceilings and flooring throughout. A heart of pine archway centers the hall. A warm interior atmosphere results.

The Gathering Room, which at one time served as a summer sleeping porch, now serves as a resting spot where gaming boards/tables, period puzzles, or meals can be enjoyed in a light and airy setting. Twelve windows with colorful and stylish window treatments, bamboo shades, a large comfy reading chair, and a leather sofa invite relaxation in this sunny garden room.

A fully equipped kitchen is within The Carriage House. Decorated in period style, the sink, cupboard & table are original to the house. The kitchen offers major appliances, various complimentary around the clock coffee and teas and views the woodland garden.

A shaded Southern front porch views the rear grounds of The Main House and has swings, rockers, large resting chairs and fans. Guest rooms are all ground level and are conveniently just steps away from parking.
