STANDARD ROOM AMENITIES: Featherbeds (under the bottom sheet on top of firm mattress); separate closet and dresser, iron and ironing board, full length mirror, expanded cable television, central air & heat and ceiling fan. STANDARD BATH AMENITIES: High profile toilets, Speakman shower heads, hair dryer, robes; hypo allergenic oatmeal soap; Gilchrist and Soames shampoo, body lotion and soap; bubble bath; Q-tips; cotton balls, shower cap; sewing kit; make-up and shoe cloths. FOOD & BEVERAGE: Full breakfast (served from 7:45 - 9:00am); early morning coffee and tea service on the guest level and evening turndown are included in the room rate. A selection of fine spirits, wine and liqueurs are available at "The Inns's Restaurant". Information on evening dining is available. AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST: One day dry cleaning and laundry service; emergency toiletries. RESERVATIONS: A credit card number or one night deposit is required to secure reservation. If you must cancel, kindly do so promptly. If cancellation is not received 3 days in advance, Abingdon Manor does charge for one night at the daily rate. A minimum stay may be required for holidays and special events. CHECK IN AND OUT TIMES: Check in is 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. and check out is 11 a.m. Please let us know if special arrangements are necessary. PAYMENT: Visa, American Express, Discover and MasterCard, personal and travelers checks. SMOKING: Allowed on all porches and verandahs as well as the gardens. Due to insurance and historic preservation regulations smoking inside the Inn is not permitted. TAXES: Sales and accommodations tax of 9% are applicable to all room rates. CHILDREN AND PETS: We are unable to accommodate children under 12 unless by special arrangement. Pets are not allowed in guest rooms. Boarding within 1 mile may be arranged for $15 per night.
