Middletown is a small beach town in Newport County, Rhode Island. The name, Middletown, is due to the great location south of Portsmouth and north of Newport on the Aquidneck Island. This is a great location for a B&B getaway. Spend the afternoons at popular Sachuset Beach getting a tan. For some exercise, take a walk through the Sachuset Wildlife Park or get in a few swings at the Newport National Golf Club. The whole family will be amazed by a tour of the coastline with Bird’s Eye View Helicopters. The adults can relax with an evening at the Newport Vineyards and Winery or a trip to the Oasis Salon and Spa. Get in a little history of the region at the Whitehall Museum House. After so many activities, you will need to rest up at a Middletown bed and breakfast before heading out for dinner.
