| Reservation Info and Tariff Policies |
- In-Season: April 16 through November 14
- Off-Season: November 15 through April 15
- Three-night minimum stay requirement on weekends Memorial Day Weekend through October.
- Two-night minimum stay requirement on weekends November through May, with exception to some holidays when a three-night minimum stay is required.
- No minimum night stay requirement Sunday through Thursday, year round.
- Rates quoted are based on double occupancy.
- We charge $50.00 for additional persons.
- Rates are subject to 7% State Tax and 6% City Bed Tax.
- All guestrooms and indoor public areas are non-smoking.
- In room amenities include - direct dial telephone with voice mail and data port, cable television, CD player/radio, iron and ironing board, hair dryers and robes.
PAYMENT
Balance due is payable upon departure. A 7% sales tax and 5% city bed tax is added to all room totals. Cash, traveler's checks, or personal checks are preferred methods of payment. We accept MasterCard, Visa and American Express credit cards.CHECK-OUT
We require that you check-out by 11:00am to allow adequate time to prepare for incoming guests. You may store your luggage with us if you would like to spend the day touring Newport. However, we do ask that you reclaim any luggage between 2pm and 6pm.BREAKFAST
Breakfast is served from 8:30am to 10:00am. Tea and coffee is available by 7:30am in our dining room. Please notify us with any special dietary needs or restrictions you may have and we will do our best to accommodate.SMOKING
For the comfort of all our guests, we provide a smoke-free environment. Smoking in guestrooms is strictly prohibited and our policy is enforced. Smoking may be enjoyed outside in our courtyard.CHILDREN
Children over the age of 12 years old are welcome to enjoy our historic inn.PETS
Our inn has no pets on property and guests' pets are not permitted. If you are traveling with your pets, please call us for a list of local boarding kennels.TELEPHONE
Our toll-free number is specifically for reservations. Calls cannot be transferred to guestrooms from this line. To accommodate incoming guest phone calls we have installed our guestline. That number is 401-846-0292. Please give this number to your family and friends who may have a need to call you while you are visiting our inn.PARKING Complimentary off-street parking is provided for guests of The Francis Malbone House. Our parking area is directly behind the inn. Please note that once you turn onto Thames Street, continue one tenth of a mile to - BREWER ST. - turn left onto Brewer Street and our parking entrance is the first right off Brewer St.
