— Glamour Magazine —

Located on Lower Thames Street in the heart of Newport
Our location offers guests the opportunity to walk to nearly all of Newport's wonderful attractions once they have parked their car in our complimentary parking lot. Very unassuming from the exterior one feels as if they have stepped back in time when they enter the Inn. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Malbone House has been lovingly maintained throughout the years, and still has the original wood floors, (some planks up to 22" wide), wainscoting and original banister leading up the staircase to the second floor. The period detailing and décor has been maintained through extensive historical research.
On the first floor of the estate guests will find four beautifully decorated guest parlors, each with its own wood burning fireplace. These warm and inviting parlors offers many different seating arrangements, which allow guests to indulge in their own mode of relaxation.
