Chocolate Sauce

Chocolate sauce and ice cream with fried pecans and raspberries or cherries.

Heat 1/2 of a stick of butter in a sauce pan slowly
Add one package of good brand chocolate chips and stir until thoroughly mixed
Add 1/2 small bottle of white corn syrup, maple syrup or other, stirring constantly and mix thoroughly while still on burner. Take off and cool slightly.

Put small amount of butter and some olive oil in frying pan and slowly brown pecans.
Set aside on plate with paper towel.

Thaw raspberries if no fresh fruit or cut up good pears or peaches.

Whip a small container of whipped cream and put in bowl

Build sundae or four "parts" of the toppings on table in pretty bowls with individual bowls of ice cream and let friends and guests make their own.

This is also wonderful for dipping fruit in a fondue bowl, or adding whipped cream for the truly decadent.

For those who love Irish Coffee, I put the fruit, chocolate and whipped cream on table with the mugs of Irish Coffee.
