Peach Bread

From 1892 VICTORIA'S KEEP BED & BREAKFAST
1/2 C. butter
1 C. sugar
3 eggs
2 3/4 C. all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 C. fresh sliced peaches
2 T. frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed & undiluted
1 tsp vanilla extract

Cream butter, gradually adding sugar and beat well. Add eggs one at a time beating well. Combine next flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Add creamed mixture alternating with the sliced peaches. Stir in orange juice concentrate and vanilla. Pour batter into greased and floured 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees (or until wooden pick comes out clean). Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove and cool completely. Makes 1 loaf.
