Watermelon and Tomato Salad



  • 4 cups seeded watermelon chunks or balls
  • 3 cups creoles cut into inch size chunks
  • 1/2 chopped red onion
  • 1/3 cup lime juice
  • 3 tbs honey
  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • splash Louisiana hot sauce (I like Crystal the best)
  • 1/4 cup toasted walnuts
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese


Combine melon, red onion and tomatoes in a lagre bowl

In a smaller bowl, whisk together the honey, lime juice, olive oil and hot sauce. Toss with tomatoe mixture. Before serving, sprinkle with feta and walnuts.
