Victorian Raspberry Treats

This is an easy Southern Sweet Recipe if you need to bring desert or afternoon treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 Egg Beaten
  • 1 Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 Stick Butter, Softened
  • 1 Egg, Beaten
  • 1 TBLS Milk
  • 1 (12 ounce) Jar Seedless Raspberry Jam
  • 1 Stick Butter, Melted
  • 3/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Coconut

Directions

Preheat oven to 325.  Spray 7x 11 pan with PAM.  Mix Flour, baking powder and salt.  Add softened Butter, 1 beaten Egg and milk.  Beath until Smooth.  Spread mixture in pan.  Spread Jam on top.  Mix melted butter, sugar coconut and remaining beaten egg.  Spread on top of jam.  Bake 35 Minutes until Golden Brown.
