Bacon Egg Nests

Ingredients

  • 2 slices precooked bacon, lightly browned
  • 1 egg
  • ½ teaspoon butter
  • 1 Tablespoon milk or half-n-half

Directions

Generously grease custard cups, muffin cups, or small ramekins.
Wrap the inside of each cup with:
2 slices precooked bacon, lightly browned
Gently drop into each:
1 egg
Dot with:
½ teaspoon butter
Gently pour over top:
1 Tablespoon milk or half-n-half
Bake in preheated 400 degree oven for approximately 12 minutes or until eggs set to preference.
Remove nest from cup, sprinkle with:
lemon pepper and paprika, to taste
Serve at once as a side with waffles, pancakes, or alone on buttered toast.
