8-10 - 1 lb. 8 oz. of mix (see below) and 2 1/2 cups (approx.) buttermilk Instructions: Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Combine ingredients - do not overmix. Flour surface, roll dough to 1/2 inch high. Cut into circles, place on greased cookie sheet (sides touching). Bake for 20 minutes (rotating sheets at 10 minutes). Biscuit mix: Process 1lb. 4 oz. of White Lily Self-Rising flour and 3 oz. Butter flavored Crisco. Mix may be prepared in advance. |
