Grand Anne Butter Pecan French Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 Baguette of either French or Italian bread cut into half inch slices
  • ½ cup half and half
  • 5 eggs
  • ¼ cup amareto liquor
  • Half box Blue Bunny Butter Pecan ice cream

Directions

Mix together:

½ cup half and half

5 eggst

¼ cup amareto liquor

Half box Blue Bunny Butter Pecan ice cream

Batter should be frothy.  Dip bread into batter.  Then cook on hot grill.  Sprinkle slivered almonds on top of bread and flip when brown to toast almonds as well.  Dust each slice with powdered sugar and serve on warmed plate with Rick’s Sweetened Bacon , whipped topping and fruit of choice.
