The best cookies, according to our guests, they have two types of chocolate, and pecans, and lets just say they are to die for! We have a heard time keeping them in the cookie jar...
So many people have asked about our cookie recipe I have decided to add this to our series of recipes that we serve here at our romantic Michigan Bed and Breakfast. It is an easy recipe, that can be make ahead of time. Feel free to print and share with friends and family.
Using a hand mixer, mix soften margarine, brown sugar, sugar , pudding mix and eggs. Mix well.
Then add vanilla, flour, baking soda, milk chocolate chips, pecans. Mix till the flour is blended in fully.
Place 1 1/2 balls of dough on sheet, flatten them with your hand to 1/2 inch thick, slightly moisten you hand prior to doing this as I find the dough does not stick to you hands that way.
Bake at 350 for 13 minutes in convection, or 16 minutes non-convection oven, till golden brown. Remove from oven and place cookies on wire rack to cool for 5 minutes, then place into cookie jar, or if the need comes on, eat them warm....I call that quality control..
