Bridgewater Inn & Cottage Black Walnut Raisin Pie

Unbaked 9" pie shell
3 eggs, beaten
3/4 c. light brown sugar
1/4 c. soft butter
1 c. dark corn syrup
3/4 c. crushed black walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. seedles raisins

Combine eggs, sugar and butter, beating until thick and fluffy. Add corn syrup, beat till fluffy. Add black walnuts and vanilla; add raisins, beating gently. Turn into pie shell. Bake in moderate oven 375* F. until firm in the center, 30 to 40 minutes.
