Yummy French Toast prepared the night before serving.
Preparation begins the evening before.
Slice a loaf of French or Italian bread (in. slices)
Lay slices flat in a cake pan
Prepare mixture as follows:
9 eggs (stirred)
1 ½ cup milk
3 t. vanilla
1 t. (heaping) cinnamon
Pour mixture generously over the bread slices, allowing bottom sides to become saturated
with liquid as well as the top. Try to evenly distribute mixture over all slices so that no
dry spots remain.
Lightly sprinkle cinnamon on top of each slice.
Cover pan with foil and refrigerate over night.
Pre-heat and butter grill.
Grill slices to desired texture.
Note: Recipe can be halved for a smaller portion.
