Butter, Grated Nutmeg, Maple Syrup. Enjoy!
In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, orange juice, half and half, Triple Sec, maple syrup and orange rind.
Dip bread slices into egg mixture and sauté in
butter on a hot griddle.
Serve on a warm plate, sprinkled with ground
nutmeg and pass warm maple syrup.
For an added treat, we serve the French Toast with our delicious orange butter. Using an electric beater, whip together, in a medium bowl, 1/2 cup (1 stick) of softened unsalted butter, 1 tbs of grated orange rind, 1 tbs of fresh orange juice, 1 tsp honey and 1/4 tsp of ground nutmeg. Chill until firm (5 - 10 min).
