Ingredients

  • 1 loaf bread, sliced about ¾ inch thick – makes about 21 to 24 slices)
  • 7 eggs
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup cream
  • 1 TB cinnamon
  • 1 ½ TB vanilla

Directions

Batter: 7 eggs
½ cup sugar
¼ cup cream
1 TB cinnamon
1 ½ TB vanilla

Heat Teflon-coated skillet using oil until hot. Dip bread slices in batter and fry until golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar just before serving.
