Chocolate Chip Cookies

8 dozen cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 cups butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 Tbsps vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsps maple extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 5 cups oatmeal (finely ground in blender)
  • 1 Tbsp baking soda
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 to 1 Tbsp salt
  • One 16-oz bag of milk chocolate chips
  • 6 oz premium white chocolate, finely chopped
  • 3 cups walnut pieces

Directions

In a very large bowl cream together the butter, sugars, vanilla, maple and eggs. In a separate bowl combine the flour, ground oatmeal, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture. Fold in the remaining ingredients. Roll into balls and freeze or bake in a 375° oven for 10-12 minutes.
