Honey Crunch Buckwheat Pancakes or Belgium Waffles

Ingredients:
1 lg. Egg
1/2 c. Buckwheat flour
1/2 c. whole-wheat flour
3/4 c. milk (2 percent)
2 Tbl. Vegetable oil
1 Tbl. Honey
1/2 tsp. Salt
3 tsp. Baking powder
Honey Crunch Wheat Germ
1 lg. Egg
1/2 c. Buckwheat flour
1/2 c. whole-wheat flour
3/4 c. milk (2 percent)
2 Tbl. Vegetable oil
1 Tbl. Honey
1/2 tsp. Salt
3 tsp. Baking powder
Honey Crunch Wheat Germ
Mix all ingredients except baking powder and wheat germ, just until batter is smooth. A wisk works great! Gently fold in baking powder with a spatula spoon batter onto griddle or Belgium waffler. Sprinkle honey crunch wheat germ lightly on top of each pancake or (waffler before closing waffle iron) cook until lightly browned around edges.
Waffles may be sprinkled with confectioners sugar and topped with whipped cream.
Makes 8 pancakes / 3 large waffles
