Cheese Strata

From THE INN & SPA AT INTERCOURSE VILLAGE
12 slices day old French Bread, cubed
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup breakfast meat (optional)
24 eggs, beaten
4 cups milk
2 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp salt
2 tsp pepper

Prepare 12-24 before baking, then refrigerate.

Grease a 3 quart casserole dish. Arrange bread cubes, meat & cheese in dish. Beat eggs & remaining ingredients. Pour over bread mixture. Cover and refrigerate. Bake at 350 for about 1 hour.

Make 12 servings.
