Sherry's Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar (optional)
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups banana nut crunch cereal
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts and/or pecans)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 or 3 bananas
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup water

Directions

Dry

1 ½ cups four
½ cup sugar (optional)
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 ½ cups banana nut crunch cereal
1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts and or pecans)

Wet

2 eggs
2 or 3 bananas
¼ cup vegetable oil
¼ cup water

In large bowl, mix wet ingredients.  I beat the eggs first then add the rest.

Mix dry ingredients except cereal and nuts.  Add to egg mixture and mix until just lumpy.  Then fold in nuts and cereal.

Pour into greased 9x5 loaf pan

Bake for about 50 minutes at 350 F
