Banana Chocolate Chip Cake

A delightfully moist and satisfying bundt cake that is always a hit with our guests. Great way to use up over ripened bananas. A chocoholic's favorite!






Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup softened butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 medium ripe bananas
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Directions

Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Spray a 9 x 11 inch pan with nonstick cooking spray. Beat sugar, sour cream, margarine, and eggs in large bowl on low speed for 1 min. Beat in bananas and vanilla on low speed 30 seconds. Beat in flour, salt, and baking soda on medium speed 1 minute. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread in pan. Bake 35-40 minutes or until light brown on top. Cool in pan. Cut into two-inch bars.
