Grand Anne Morning Muffins
From THE GRAND ANNE BED & BREAKFASTYield:
4-6 peopleIngredients
- ¼ cup white all purpose flour
- ¼ cup wheat flour
- 2/3 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/6 teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ cup yogurt, do not add yogurt with peach filling below
- 1 small egg
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions
Add filling of choice:
¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
¼ cup Wilderness cherry pie filling
¼ cup Wilderness Lemon Crème pie filling, dust after baking with powdered sugar
¼ cup Wilderness peach pie filling, plus 1/8 cup chopped pecans, plus ½ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ cup crushed pineapple, dust after baking with powdered sugar
¼ cup chopped fresh strawberries plus 1/8 cup sliced almonds
Recipe and fillings serve 4-6 people. I bake and serve in olive oil sprayed glass custard cups
