STONE FRUIT CHUTNEY

This Fresh Fruit chutney is ideal for summer meals. It is a great side dish for grilled meats. We served it with Herb-Marinated Grilled Lamb Loin.

Ingredients:
4 large peaches or nectarines-halved, pitted & thinly sliced (or diced into small cubes)
4 apricots or plums (or diced into small cubes)
1 Cup quartered, pitted cherries (or use dried ones)
6 Tablespoons granulated Sugar
3 Tablespoons White Balsamic Vinegar
½ Teaspoon Garam Masala

Preparation:

  1. Combine all fruit together in a medium sized bowl.
  2. Add dry items-Sugar, Vinegar, Garam Masala & toss.
  3. Let sit for 1 hour at room temp, for juices to form & flavors to blend.
  4. Cover & Chill. Serve either Chilled or at room temp.
