Amish Granola Bread

*This recipe is for a bread machine but could be adapted to baking in a regular oven.1 2/3 cups water

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 Tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3-1/2 cups high gluten flour
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 2 teaspoon bread machine yeast
  • 1 cup Amish granola (we like Country Lane Granola from Walnut Creek Cheese)
  • ¾ cup golden raisins
  • 1-2/3 cups water

Directions

Put the items in the bread machine pan in the order listed. Set your bread machine for a 2 lb. loaf of sweet bread and bake! Note: If the dough seems dry when it starts mixing, then add a couple teaspoons of water as needed.
