Lillian's Frosted Raisin Bars


1 cup seedless raisins
1/2 cup melted butter
3/4 cup sugar
1-3/4 cup flour
1 egg
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 cup raisin juice
1/2 tsp Soda
pinch of salt
1/2 tsp Vanilla

1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup butter
1/2 tsp Vanilla
Hot water as needed

Boil raisins in water for 20 minutes. Drain and cool saving juice. Mix cookie ingredients adding water to raisin juice if needed to make 1/2 cup. Add raisins and spread very thin on greased cookie sheet. Bake 10-15 minutes at 300 degrees. Frost while still warm.
