Cooking Time:

50 minutes


  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 1/2 c water
  • 6 eggs beaten separately
  • 1 c flour
  • 1/2 teas cream of tartar


Boil sugar and water until it threads, pour into stiffly beaten egg whites. beat until cool then add well beaten egg yolks. Sift flour and cream of tartar. Bake in an angel food pan 50 minutes in a slow oven.
