Cinnamon Pecan Scones
From CASA SEDONA BED AND BREAKFAST INNDirections
2 c. flour
1 c. corn meal
1/2 c. sugar
1 T. baking powder
1/2 t. baking soda
1 t. cinnamon
3/4 c. cold butter
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. chopped pecans (or other dried fruit, nuts, etc.)
Combine dry ingredients and butter, mixing well. Add milk and pecans. Roll out dough on a lightly foured board to 3/4" thickness. Cut with a foured cookie cutter. Place on an ungreased baking sheet and bake at 425 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
