Rosa's Banana Bread
From CASA SEDONA BED AND BREAKFAST INNDirections
2 sticks margarine
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 t. salt
1 t. baking soda
1 t. baking powder
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 - 3 ripe bananas, mashed
in a large bowl, cream butter and sugar; add eggs and vanilla. In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients. Alternate adding part of the flour mixture, then bananas, then buttermilk, blending well each time. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 - 45 minutes.
