Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Arrange the saltines in a single layer. Cook the butter and sugar until well mixed, frothy and thick. About 5-8 minutes. Pour over saltines and spread evenly to cover all the saltines. Bake at 350 for 8 -10 minutes. Remove when very bubbly and before they look done. Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly and return to the oven for about a minute. Spread the melting chocolate to cover the whole pan. Refrigerate until firm. Break into pieces and enjoy.
