Mixed Berry French Toast

- 1 loaf day old French bread cubed
- 8 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups half and half
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup combo of blueberries, raspberries and blackberries (fresh or frozen)
Directions
Grease 9 x 13 baking dish. Fill with cubed bread. Mix berries into bread once in dish Mix eggs, milk, half and half, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon. Pour mixture over bread and make sure to moisten all the bread. May want to tap down lightly (not to squish) with a fork. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake uncovered for 40 minutes until puffed. Served with warm maple syrup.
