Our Happy Hour favorite!

Directions

Fill a glass with ice.  Gently add the following ingredients in this order:

 

In the bottom pour a ½ oz Grenadine or the syrup from the maraschino cherry jar.

 

Add 1 oz amber spiced rum.

 

Add the juice of a quarter/half lime (about ¾ oz or 1 ½ tbsp. lime juice) and toss in the skin.

 

Add ½ oz Cointreau or Curacao or Triple Sec (something sweet and orangey).

 

Add ¼ oz Maui Pineapple syrup or a ginger syrup (we make our own)

 

Add ½ oz orgeat or almond syup

 

Add one oz dark rum

 

Add ¼ oz (just a few drops) Pernod

 

Garnish with a short straw, a cherry and a slice of pineapple (and a paper umbrella if you’ve got ‘em.)
