Apple and Cheese Toast presented by The 1908 William Page Inn Bed and Breakfast Email this page to a Friend
Ingredients:

2 Tbsp butter for sauteing
1 apple, any style, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
2 pieces any type bread, toasted and lightly buttered
1/3 cup grated cheddar cheese

Melt the butter in a small skillet and add the apple slices. Cook over low heat for 3-4 minutes, or until the apple is tender. Pour the mixture evenly over the bread. Sprinkle the cheese over the apple and place under the broiler just until the cheese has melted. Serve immediately.
