For your curiosity, here is the recipe for the “Bircher-Muesli”. This famous dish was created in Switzerland by Dr. Bircher in 1887 at his diet clinic. In 1924 it was named Bircher-Muesli and became a Swiss national tradition.
2 cups natural yogurt
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup milk
3-4 tbsp sugar
Stir together, then add ˝ lemon (squeezed onto fruit) 2 chopped apples, 2 bananas, 1 orange, some grapes, strawberries, or any other fruit such as pears, pineapples, blueberries, raspberries or kiwis…. Combine everything to your taste. Leave overnight. If you like, you can add nuts, raisins or Whipping cream! Enjoy! Serves 4 - 6.
