Ham, Chili and Cheese Strata presented by Runnymede Country Inn Bed and Breakfast

6 flour tortillas
7 oz. Can of diced green chilies
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups shredded Monterrey jack cheese
8 oz. Diced ham
6 eggs
2c. half and half
1 t. Cavender’s seasoning
|
A day or evening before serving spray bottom and sides of 9 x 13 pan with nonstick spray. Tear tortillas and line bottom of pan. Spread with half of diced chilies, half of ham and half of cheese. Tear remaining tortillas and follow with remaining layers of chilies, ham and cheese. Mix eggs, half and half and seasoning. Pour over the layers. Cover and put in refrigerator overnight. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake one hour, until top is golden brown. Let it sit 5 – 10 minutes before cutting. Serves 10. Salsa is a good accompaniment.
