Ingredients:
1 cup uncooked rolled oats
2 cups boiling water
1 envelope dry yeast
1/2 cup light molasses
2 teaspoons salt
1 Tablespoon butter
3 1/2 - 4 cups flour
Soak oatmeal in boiling water at least 30 minutes. Add other
ingredients and let rise until double in bulk. Knead a bit
and divide into 2 loaves. Let rise again. Bake at
350° about 35-40 minutes.
