The Lodges Rustic Chocolate Bread Pudding presented by The Lodges at Lost Maples

1 oz. melted butter
2 large eggs, beaten
½ cup brown sugar
1 ½ cup heavy cream
½ cup milk
½ t. vanilla
¼ t. cinnamon
½ cup melted milk chocolate
3 cups day old bread
3 squares semi-sweet or dark chocolate
Preheat oven to 350 and grease twelve muffin tins.
In a mixing bowl whisk butter, eggs, sugar, cream, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and chocolate together. Fold in the bread and blend thoroughly. Pour mixture into muffin tins (about ¾ full). Cut chocolate squares into 4 pieces each. Press one piece into mixture of each tin. Bake 35 minutes, cool and sprinkle with powder sugar.
