Serves 18
Cream 1/2 cup butter or margarine
Add:
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
3 egg yolks
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
Beat until light, then add the following:
1/4 teaspoon mace
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon allspice
In separate bowl beat 3 egg whites until stiff. Add 1/8 teaspoon salt. Add egg whites to creamed mixture. Beat untill well mixed. Keep in refrigerator or freezer until ready to serve.
To Serve:
To one coffee mug add:
1/2 jigger brandy
1/2 jigger dark rum
Fill mug ¾ full with boiling water. Top with 2-3 tablespoons batter mix. Stir slightly. Sprinkle with a dash of nutmeg and ENJOY!
