2 1/4 cups Bisquick
2/3 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar (more if desired)
1 cup cooked crumbled sausage
Makes 15-20 biscuits depending on size.
Stir together Bisquick and milk. Add cheese and sausage (may need additional milk if added sausage and cheese). Mixture will be sticky. Drop biscuits on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Serve warm or reheat in microwave for 10 seconds per biscuit.
This recipe was given to us by a favorite friend and contract baker. she was too busy to cook for us one day, so she gave us the recipe and when we realized how easy they were to make, but wonderful to taste, we began making them ourselves, almost weekly.
