Gracious Peach Dessert presented by Edenfield House Inn Bed & Breakfast

1 or 1 1/2 tubes Ritz® crackers, crushed
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 stick melted margarine
1 box Dream Whip® (2 envelopes, prepared as directed)
8 oz. softened cream cheese
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup water
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 small box peach Jell-O®
3 cups sliced fresh peaches

Combine Ritz cracker crumbs, 2 Tablespoons sugar, and melted margarine;
mix well.
Line a 9 x 13 dish with this.
Prepare Dream Whip as directed.
Beat cream cheese until fluffy and add to Dream Whip.
Spread over crust.
Combine 3/4 cup sugar, 1 cup water, and 3 tablespoons cornstarch; bring to
a boil.
Remove from heat and add Jell-O.
Cool mixture, then add peaches.
Spread on top of cream cheese layer.
Refrigerate several hours.
