This recipe was featured in the 'You Asked for It' column of Gourmet, July 1992.
2 cups small ice cubes (fill blender 1/3 full)
1 cup papaya nectar
3/4 cup pineapple juice
1/2 ripe banana
About 1/3 cup frozen blackberries or frozen raspberries (not packed in syrup)
1 tablespoon canned cream of coconut (a key ingredient in piña coladas, available in the Liquor Department of your grocery store)
In a blender, blend all ingredients at high speed till smooth. Serves 4-6
